Have you seen all posts saying that despite the “unprecedented year” 2020 has been, people have leveled up in their career, their finances and in love?
Haven’t you heard?
All the cool kids started businesses, made 7 figures and are now expecting a baby. But that was not me.
My greatest accomplishment this year was keeping my sanity and that’s no small feat because this year, I lost my job, lost loved ones and I almost lost my son.
I would be lying if I said that instead of being inspired by those wonderful accomplishments, that I sometimes look at myself and wonder why that didn’t happened for me. And what could I have done differently to hustle harder to get the kind of results that they did.

My greatest accomplishment this year was keeping my sanity and that’s no small feat because this year, I lost my job, lost loved ones and I almost lost my son.
2020 was not my year.
But I showed up. Every. Single. Day. Many days it was without sleep or a shower but I showed up and powered through the madness that was 2020 and I am still standing.
And you know what, that is enough. Because it is no small blessing to still be standing as we approach the end of this year, when so many people are not.
So despite how you made it this far, whether you had the best year of your life or if you just barely made it. Congratulations to you!
Now, I can’t make promises about what 2021 will bring. Or guarantee that everything lost will be restored or that all our dreams will come true. But, I can be sure that it will be a year of getting closer to fulfilling our purpose here on this earth. God still has work for us to do and I’m certain He will sprinkle some major blessings in there as well. And that, is something we can all look forward to.
With Love,
