Springtime is my favorite season to try out a new eye makeup look. Color is back in and the weather is perfect for comfortable wear. Summer is too hot and sweaty to wear a lot of makeup.
So, what are the spring beauty trends for eye makeup this year? Well, I am seeing some carry over from last year. But, I’ve done the research and I’m sharing with you 4 different simple, yet beautiful eye makeup looks to try this Spring.
Abstract Pastels
Doesn’t this look channel the 80’s, specifically Jem? And it is so versatile, you can switch it out for any shade.

Take a frosted blue shade like Zola from the Masquerade Minis Palette by Juvia’s Place and place it in a abstract way on the eyelid and get messy with it. For a more wearable version of this look, you can soften the edges by blending them out.
p.lGraphic Eyeliner
It seems like every year, every season, loves graphic liner. But I love to see how it evolves. I was inspired by this pink and gold look that I saw at an Ulta store and had to recreate it.

Use a pink shadow like a shade from Juvia’s Place The Berries Palette and place it onto the entire eyelid and also work it upwards towards the eyebrow. Get a little messy with it and do not blend out the edges as you normally would. Also line the lower lash line with the same pink shadow. Then take a gold eyeliner pencil and line the upper eyelid and draw a horizontal line on brow bone for a graphic effect.
Frosty Eyeshadow
I was inspired by Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty Ulta stores launch party makeup that nails the frosted eyeshadow trend so perfectly so, I had to put my spin on it.

Get the look
Lay a white eyeshadow base on the eyelid to help the color to not only stay in place but to pop. Once you set the base with a setting powder. Layer a frosted silver shadow like Iman from The Saharan Palette by Juvia’s Place all over the eyelid and pack it on. Take a clean fluffy blending brush to blend out any harsh edges. Take a black liner to line your eyes and add a small flick at the outer corner. Lastly 3 coats of mascara pulls this icy cold eye look all together.
A Pop of Peri
The pantone color of the year Very Peri aka periwinkle had to make its way onto on faces as well. And there are so many ways to beautifully incorporate this bluish-purple shade. Plus it looks incredible on all skin tones.

Once again you’ll need to place a layer of white eye base or concealer to make this shade pop. Set it with powder to avoid creasing. Then pack on this purple shade, I used the shade Parfait from MAC, onto the eyelid. It’d discontinued but, E.L.F has a Bite Size Eyeshadow Palette called Acai You with a similar shade. Use the clean fluffy blending brush to blend out any harsh edges. This is a very soft look so one coat of mascara is perfect to round out this look.
These are 4 of my favorite spring time eye looks. They are simple to recreate and very wearable. Which one will you recreate?
